Going in lakitu before the box reduce more lag than staying in Mario cam, but can make the jump dive strat akward. Sideflipping the red coin is a more commonly used strat by runners and isn't much slower.

Easy way to avoid the amp if it's going to hit you. The position of the amp is fully RNG.
