Backwards Star Order is a challenge where in each of the 15 main courses, all stars must be collected in reverse order (with the 100 Coin Star counting as Star 7 and therefore the first one that must be collected). In addition, no star door requirements can be skipped, as that would defeat the purpose of the challenge. The challenge is impossible to complete, as the manta ray does not spawn in Dire, Dire Docks until the Board Bowser's Sub star has been collected.
