Bowser appears in three stages: Bowser in the Dark World, Bowser in the Fire Sea and Bowser in the Sky.

Each time Mario fights him Bowser becomes stronger, learning new moves and taking more hits to defeat (one hit in the first/ one in the second/ three in the third)
