Cavern of the Metal Cap is a bonus stage where you unlock the Metal Cap. You can also collect a star here after collecting the eight Red Coins.
PU Access
It is theorized that you can use Hyperspeed Walking to get PU access in this stage in the area with the waterfall, but this is not confirmed.
