Goombas are common enemies throughout the game. They appear in many courses. They can be defeated by landing on them, punching/kicking them, or interacting with other objects.

Spawning

There are two main varieties if goombas. Singleton goombas that remain loaded from the start of the level, and goomba trios that load and unload using spawners.

Goombas from goomba trios are the only ones that can be cloned.
