We post the routes together since they are largely the same except for skipping/not skipping DDD. It is recommended to learn the basic SBLJ and do 1 star first as it is considerably simpler than the DDD skip setups.
There are no restrictions. All forms of BLJ are allowed. Timing starts from power on and ends when the big star is collected at the end of the game.

DDD Skip is a trick involving BLJ's where Mario enters [[RTA Guide/Bowser in the Fire Sea#No Reds | Bowser in the Fire Sea]] without having to enter Dire Dire Docks.Due to this skip, Mario is not required to obtain the 1 star in Dire Dire Docks required to push the water back to access Bowser in the Fire Sea.
