Many people have made speed runs of Super Mario 64. As more discoveries have been made, the game has been beatable with less stars all the way down to 0 stars as discovered by SwordlessLink and AKA.

0 Star

The first 0 star TAS was performed by SwordlessLink and AKA and released on December 7, 2007. They got enough backwards speed on the side BLJ so as to skip Dire Dire Docks. This cut the time down by nearly a minute, whereas later discoveries have narrowed the time down to just over 5 minutes.
