TAS Competition 2015 was hosted by [[sonicpacker]]. It lasted for 10 tasks and was won by [[Nis]]. | |||
It was the first competition of any kind to be run since [[Nico TAS Competition|2012]], after many failed attempts to re-ignite interest in a new one. This marked the beginning of a decade-long stretch (which is still ongoing) of continued interest in TAS competitions, which would go on to inspire not only more within the SM64 community, but also that of other games as well. | |||
It was the first annual competition to begin on January 1st, a tradition which would be repeated in [[TAS Competition 2018|2018]] and [[TAS Competition 2019|2019]]. | |||
