RTABC Guide/Chip Off Whomp's Block

This is a guide for how to beat the star Chip Off Whomp's Block in 1 A press in an RTABC run.
Method
Begin by traversing through the Bomps and moving platforms. After teleporting to the ceiling of the pole platform, DR over the gate and carefully get on top of a Whomp. Let it guide you to the elevator, where you can slide kick off and make your way up to the top. After King Whomp confronts you, let him chase you back to the elevator. This next part is tricky, so beware. When you are back on the elevator (be careful not to fall off), wait until the platform comes back up, very carefully get on to the side of the platform and move off right when King Whomp attempts to flatten you. As he falls, quickly ground pound and you will clip through him and smash his back. Repeat this method once more. After this, there are two possible ways to finish the course using 1 A press.
Ending 1

ExpergeTech (talk) 22:39, 16 December 2020 (UTC) Repeat the elevator trick performed earlier. Be careful, as you may not fall back onto the elevator after King Whomp explodes. Afterwards, head to the star and simply jump into it.
Ending 2
Get off the elevator and lure King Whomp to the center of the battle area, where the star spawns. Let him fall onto the ground, jump, and ground pound right as he does so. After defeating him, Mario will almost immediately collect the star.
