Walljumping requires bonking on a wall, but bonking resets your speed to 0. By walljumping on the first frame possible(by doing a [[firsty]]),the bonking animation will not happen, so you will not only conserve your speed, but also gain a little more. You can do this as long as your speed is lower than 400 when hitting the wall.

Hyper Speed Wall Kicking (abreviation: HSWK, Wall kicking refers as doing a wall jump, not kicking the wall) is a glitch that allows Mario to build up speed by walljumping beetween two walls.

Execution

Walljumping requires bonking on a wall. By walljumping on the first frame possible(by doing a firsty), you will not only conserve your speed, but also gain a little more. You can do this as long as your speed is lower than 400 when hitting the wall.
