RTA Guide/Whomp's Fortress

Whomp's Fortress is the second course in the game. 1 star is needed to access it without a lobby BLJ.

Route

1. Blast Away the Wall
2. Fall onto the Caged Island
3. Red Coins on the Floating Isle + 100 Coins
4. Shoot into the Wild Blue
5. Chip Off Whomp's Block
6. To the Top of the Fortress

Tips

• If collecting every star, make sure to do Chip Off Whomp's Block second to last and To the Top of the Fortress last. This will minimize the lag experienced from the fortress and also prevent the owl in the tree from getting in your way
• If you aren't doing Owlless, then do the same order but with Fall onto the Caged Island last. This will minimize lag from the tower but still make the owl available to use.

Star Select Info

Act 1 - Whomp King

King Whomp is spawned on the top platform. Until you collect Chip Off Whomp's Block, the cannon Bob-omb , the Fortress and the owl will not spawn.

Act 2 - Fortress

Once King Whomp has been defeated, selecting Star 2-6 will spawn the Fortress on the top platform. To complete Act 2, you must collect To the Top of the Fortress

Act 3 - Owl and Cannon

Once you collect To the Top of the Fortress, Selecting stars 3-6 will spawn the owl and the cannon bob-omb.
