Cartridge Tilting refers to the act of tilting cartridges in a console to loosen the connection, which can mess up gameplay. Cartridge tilting is not a glitch, but rather a process which creates hardware glitches. By continuously tilting the cartridge mid-game, the cartridge will enter a state where its not fully connected to the console but not completely disconnected.
