Since the [[HOLP]] only updates when a held object is rendered, using the fact that the [[camera]] focus is a distance away from Mario, the camera can be faced away from Mario where he won't be rendered and so he can grab and throw a objects without updating the HOLP. It seems like one way to do this is the enter Mario cam, fix the camera in place, and look in the opposite direction. The camera will then turn around to look where Mario is looking, and as such Mario is now behind the camera. <s>Someone who actually knows what they're saying should verify this.</s>
