It features a sunny environment with birds and water sfx in the background. There is also a cannon next to the lake that unlocks at 120 Stars, which is meant to allow you to get onto the castle roof. However, it can be bypassed with precise movement.

The 1st floor has 4 courses and 1 secret star course, [[Bob-omb Battlefield|BOB]] (Bob-Omb Battlefield), [[Whomp's Fortress|WF]] (Whomp's Fortress), [[CCM]] (Cool Cool Mountain) and [[JRB]] (Jolly Roger Bay) and [[The Princess's Secret Slide|Peach's Secret Slide]]. Then, you go into the Star Door, which requires 8 stars to get to, then you get to [[BitDW]] (Bowser in the Dark World), this is where the first bowser fight is. Then there is a door to the 2nd floor, which has all of the rest of the mid-end stages. There's also the basement, which you can get to by going through the wooden doors, and going down below, it requires the Bowser Key, or you can do [[1 Key]] (which doesn't require the first bowser fight).
