The Negative Jump (or the Rückwärtssprung, RVS) is a regular jump done when Mario has massive negative speed (but LESS than QPU-range speeds), usually not achievable without glitches. When done near a cliff, or a floor with another floor close below, Mario will downwarp a significant amount for 1f, before terminal velocity takes effect. Otherwise, Mario will simply land back immediately.
