Hyperspeed is an abnormally large amount of speed. Though hyperspeed usually refers to Mario's speed, it can also be applied to other objects. Hyperspeed is usually obtained via glitches or physics exploits, and is often helpful in speedruns and challenges due to its ability to allow quicker movement and the potential to clip through walls.
