In the A Button Challenge, it takes 1x A press to beat the level. Regardless if it's a red coin star, it would still require 1x A press.
The 1x A press is required to jump over the pole, in which on [[Virtual Console|WiiVC]] edition, the entire course is done in 0x A presses, due to the [[Wii VC Round-To-Zero|Wii VC Rounding to Zero]].

Bowser in the Fire Sea is the second Bowser level in Super Mario 64. It can be accessed from the big star door of the basement, which requires 30 stars to open.

Collecting the key from this level is mandatory as it unlocks the door to the 2nd floor aswell as leading up to the 3rd Bowser fight.
