Start by diving towards the Bob-ombs near the white slope. Get one to notice Mario and start running up the slope. The Bob-omb will push Mario up the slope. Scale the mountain and take the warp to save a bit of time and make things easier. Once Mario is at the top, activate King Bob-omb's text. Run behind him and throw him. Complete the fight as normal, and dive to collect the star.
