Hyperspeed is an abnormally large amount of speed. Though hyperspeed usually refers to Mario's speed, it can also be applied to other objects. Hyperspeed is often obtained via glitches or physics exploits. Hyperspeed is often helpful in speedruns and challenges because it allows quicker movement and the ability to clip through walls.
