Getting to the top of the mountain is very simple and can be done as intended. Using the teleporters instead of getting up the white slope or crossing the bridge will make things easier.
This star is trivial, as it can be completed the exact same way as normal.
The more advanced route uses a Bob-omb to push Mario up the slope at the foot of the mountain, near Chain Chomp.
The fastest route is to combine this with a framewalk up the steeper slope directly afterwards, under the plank bridge.
